Research notes
I’m going to share some thoughts and notes on both creams. But first I wanted to dig into some of the ingredients and share with you some of my research notes. I noticed amongst the ingredients there was Shea Butter. Shea butter is a natural fat extracted from the nuts of the African shea tree, known for its moisturizing and conditioning properties, and is widely used in skincare and haircare products such as these creams.
Any good?
I enjoyed using both of these creams. I can get very dry skin at night and both creams gave my skin a much needed jump start, especially the night cream. Oh the mornings, the glow, the elasticity. Transports me back to the last days of summer, ‘1999. Saying goodbye to the redhead from Ireland, her skin had that same glow. Innocent, clean, I felt it on the back of my fingers. She walked back down the long road from Sefton Park. I watched her all the way and she never looked back.

Flashback
Long drives up north in the Metro to see her. My father warned me the car was not designed for 8 hour round trips to see the redhead with freckled skin. Last I heard she had taken up smoking. Her face is so moist, this cream takes me back there. She once told me, ‘have you ever noticed that we have nothing to say to each other?’

Yes for an everyday cream this does the job. I do like the shea butter, and my skin feels hydrated throughout the day and through to morning. I think the bottles are quite luxurious looking. Although I’m sure they’re branded to appeal to women more. Not luxury inside, but it’s good value.
